Hello everyone!!! I know, I know its been f o r e v e r since I actually blogged anything but I wanted to show everyone the cards I made for our latest project!!! For this project the cards are going to the homeless shelter where I work. They will be used by the clients and the staff both. You know with rising costs these will come in handy for the shelter to use for volunteers and staff as well as for the clients to use for their families and friends. Every little bit helps!!! I hope you enjoyed seeing them and I hope some of you like them so well you scrap lift them and use for your friends and family!!! Here are some of the cards I have done for the Charity Group Lime Light Scrappers. I have 51 done so far!!! Most of them are "Happy Birthday" but they range from "Thank You", "Happy Mothers Day" to just general cards! I did not put sentiments inside the cards though, I think it makes it easier for the people purchasing the cards to personalize them. I have had so much fun making these!!! I hope everyone enjoys them!!!

This first project is for The Parents Club Inc. in Oklahoma. They are thrift stores that help people get back on their feet. Its a project that really touches my heart since I work in a homeless shelter for families!!!

OK, that was Christmas at the Murphy's!!!! It was my Granddaughter Mackenzie's first Christmas and we were so excited to watch her try to open the presents!!! She actually did help open a few of them!!! It was so great to see all of the kids this year!!! We celebrated with my parents and my daughter Meghan on Christmas day but we had to wait until the Sunday afterward to see our oldest daughter Katie and her fiance Justin and our youngest daughter Tess and her fiance Jeremy and of course the Divine Miss M. Dylan enjoyed seeing all of his sisters too. I know he misses them a lot!!! Its hard when your kids grow up and move away and get lives of their own!!!! I try to relish each and every moment I spend with them now, no matter how fleeting it may be!!!! You know the saying and the song "Your going to miss this" trust me you will!!! I try to remind myself that when Dylan is throwing a huge fit and refusing to do anything I ask!!! LOL

Hello Bloggies!!!

I'm sooo sorry its been so long since Ive posted anything!!! You name it Ive had it in the last few weeks, cold, flu,strep throat, tooth ache, nasty cough!!! I think I miigghhtt be on the mend but I don't want to get to eager!! I have been doing some scrapping though, yea!!! I have been making cards for Operation Write Home. They send only handmade cards overseas to the troops to send back to their family and friends. I stumbled upon their website after reading an article in Scrapbooks etc, about paying it forward. Tomorrow I will post some pictures of some of the cards so you all can take a look. I'm excited to get started on the first Lime Light Scrappers Design Team project!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a joyous New Year!!! I also have some pictures of Christmas and of the Divine Miss "M" so I will try to get those posted as well!!! Work has been a challenge with the holidays and budget cuts and clients as well as staff being sick so much!! Ah, the life of non-profit!!! But I cant imagine what I would do for a living if I wasn't working at the shelter, LOL!!!

Can you believe that Christmas is only 6 days away??!!! Where does the time go?? Im almost finished with my shopping though. I only have a few small things to pick up. Oh I almost forgot about the 32 inch LCD Plasma TV that my hubby has decided we can't possibly live without since "EVERYONE" has them on sale right now!!! LOL I just nod an smile when he gets that gleam in his eyes!!! LOL

Oh, its just too darn early to be at work!! LOL I normally work 2nd shift but this month I'm working 1st shift on Saturdays. I don't usually go to be until 1:30 or 2:00 am and its VERY hard to get up and take Dylan to my parents house in Wichita and be at work at 7:00am!!! I'm definitely dragging this morning, not to mention that Saturday's are sooo slow anyway, LOL.

Last night was great!!! I'm so glad the Blog Hop went so well and now I have all of these new friends and followers!! Welcome everyone!!! I will try not to bore you to death with my ramblings he-he.

Hello Everyone! My name is Kim and I am one of the newest members of the Lime Light Charitable Design Team. I am very honored to have been chosen for the team. The charity aspect of the design team is what drew me to the group. I work for a homeless shelter and I LOVE IT!!!! I have non-profit in my blood!!! I have been scrapbooking for 3-4 years now. I absolutely LOVE it!!! Its such a wonderful way to preserve my family and friends as well as a creative outlet. Besides its cheaper than therapy, but not by much!!! LOL

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 12.5 years now!! We have three beautiful daughters who are all in their twenties and living on their own. The oldest Katie is a High School English Teacher and engaged to a great guy Justin. Our middle girl, Meghan, is a manager at a fun retail store here in town!! She's a natural at it!! The youngest is Tess, also engaged, to Jeremy. They recently gave us our very first grandchild, an absolutely BEAUTIFUL little girl named Mackenzie!!! Last but certainly not least is our son Dylan, he will be 12 next month. Dylan has Aspergers Syndrome, a form of Autism and ADHD, but he is EXTREMELY smart and on the honor roll.

Please take a look at my layouts Ive put here on my blog, everyone of them done with love and pride!!! I'm very excited to see what the next year will bring and what projects our group will do and the lives we will change!! Sometimes we never know how our actions will change another person, small things can make such a huge difference in the life of others!!

As you can see by the title, the Lime Light Charitable Design Team (of which I am a card-carrying member) is having a blog hop this Friday at 8PM. Mackenzie's 1st Thanksgiving

This year we had Brian side of the family over for thanksgiving! It was nice to see everyone. Some of his sibs we hadn't seen in a long time. But the grandma in me has to admit the one we were most excited to see was Mackenzie!!!! She is 4 months old now and this was her first Thanksgiving!!! I don't think it mattered much to her though! LOL Its so nice to see Brian holding her and talking to her and to watch her smile at him or look at him as if to say "WHO are YOU!!" LOL

On Sunday we went to Olathe Ks for Dylan's Regional Soccer Tournament for Special Olympics. He had to be on the bus at 6:00 am!!!! Boy was that early, I didn't even get off work until 11:30 pm on Saturday!! LOL I was a little bleary eyed on the drive to the church let me tell you!! I was nice for Brian and I to have the drive up there to ourselves, we don't get much of that anymore. Well, almost to ourselves, the dogs were in the truck with us, hehehe!!!

Dylan played SUPER!!!! His team won both games 17-2 and 10-2, he scored 3-4 goals in each one!!! I was so proud of him!!! Even the big boys were impressed, they came to watch the second game!!! They want him to play on their team but I don't think he is old enough for that team yet. He doesn't need any help picking up things he doesn't need to know!!! Brian and went to a really cool sports bar, 54th Street Bar and Grill, and watched the KC Chiefs play while Dylan's team was eating lunch. It was a pretty cool place, lots of cool stuff on the walls.

I was glad to get home and go to bed early!!! The dogs were also glad to get home!!

Im so glad to have a day off!!!

I have to repeat my last post from a year ago and say the I cant believe its been so long since I posted anything!!!

Let's see where should I start...Well, I'm hoping to see Tess and Mackenzie on Thursday. I'm sure she is growing like a weed!!! She is almost 7 weeks old now! I will have to post some pic's of her on here so everyone can see her!!! I found the coolest blog last night its called Lime Light. They make projects for different causes, like making and sending cards to the troops and The Butterfly Project. Go to their blog and check it out, they are doing some wonderful work!!!

I just cant believe its been this long since I posted anything. You what they say about life getting in the way of living your life. Or something like that!? We've all been doing pretty good. Dylan has started 5th grade now. I still cant believe it though it just seems like yesterday I took him to kindergarten for the first time. This was the first year I didn't take him to school on the first day. Boohoo! It made me sad, I guess he really is growing up.

Brian has been working a lot, which is a good thing except that we don't see him very often. I'm a trucker widow, I refer to his truck as his girlfriend. She sees him more than I do, LOL. We are almost done with the kitchen remodel!!!!!!!! YEAH!!! We ordered the flooring this week-end and bought the chandelier to go over the island. We still have odds and ends to finish but its coming along. When we finish paying off the flooring we will get the granite counter top. The kitchen has a farmhouse look now. I love it! I'm going to go to some antique shops and find some things to display on top of the cabinets and the walls. Brian is already talking about what we are going to do to the master bathroom, YIKES... HELP ME!!!! hahaha

We have a new addition to our family she is very cute and seems to fit in pretty good. Her name is Trixie and she is 6 mos old. She is half schnauzer and half doxie dog! Her and Sparky get along, well hmmm lets see, well she gives him the devil and he tries to ignore her! But they do play some together and they both sleep in the recliner in our bedroom at night so I guess they are doing OK. I'm at work now but I will post some pictures of her tomorrow.

Wow, what a difference a week makes! This is the first week of my life improvement plan, otherwise known as, working ONLY one job!!!! I'm still a little lost with the concept of "free time" I'm not sure what to do with myself. One thing I am having trouble with is ever since my shoulder surgery Ive had my days and nights mixed up. I know, I know that's for babies. But I can literally stay up most of the night and then I want to sleep all day! Good Grief I'm a mess!!! I start PT tomorrow, pray for me!!! LOL

I actually went into the scrap room today! Boy, I wish I knew when keeps going in there and messing it up! *hehe* I saw some of the sneak peaks of CHA Summer 2009, cute, cute, cute!!!

Well I will have to go for now!

Hello All!!!

Wow, I cant believe its really been over a month since I posted anything. Time flies when your living life. OK, so lets see...whats been going on.

School got out and Dylan is officially a 5th grader now, my gosh how did that happen, WHEN did that happen? He is going to M.H.A. camp this summer three days a week, so that's nice for him. (and me, hehe)

I had Arthroscopic Surgery on my right shoulder last Wednesday. They thought I had a tear in my rotator cuff, but thankfully I didnt!! So they ended up cleaning it out. Now it feels pretty good, I cant lift anything over 5 lbs and I cant push or pull anything with that arm. Brian ended up getting a run the day after my surgery. He is running between Casper WY. and Salt Lake City UT. He has no clue when he will be back!!! So Dylan's been my nurse maid!!! Poor little guy! :O( Im supposed to start PT next Monday. Yippee Skippee!!!

The other big thing in my life right now is I put in my 2-weeks notice at Ryan Lawn and Tree. Thats where I was working in the mornings. I just cant do it anymore. I was starting to feel like a stranger in my own house. Sometimes I would 2 days or more and not see Dylan! Well, not awake anyway, LOL. My last day there will be June 19th. Then I will only work 2nd shift at the shelter. I CANT WAIT to have my days free again!!!!! SCRAP ROOM HERE I COME!!!

Well, I better get off of here its time for dinner!!!

Wow, I cant believe its been this long since I posted anything!!! I have been so incredibly busy, Im not sure if Im coming or going, LOL. But at least which ever way Im going I will be going in style!!
I'm sorry the picture is bad I will be taking some better pictures with the camera soon. I took this one with my phone so Brian could see it. He has been gone for almost two weeks now and he hasn't got to see the new ride yet!!!

Its a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer, it has 10,500 miles on it, its silver and I got a truly incredible deal on it!! Yea for ME!! I had to laugh when the salesMAN told me the truck was coming out in the paper the next day and he didn't think it would last until Brian came home. Especially since there were two other people on the sales floor that wanted it and two more coming from out of town the next day to look at it. (I know that just screams sales gimmick, doesn't it? Well it was true. I thought there was going to be a bidding war, LOL) I was a little insulted by that, hehehe! I told him "I do not need my husband hear to buy a vehicle, I'm perfectly capable of doing that all by myself. Thank you very much! He laughed until he saw my face, then we proceeded to get down to some car buying business. Silly man!!

Its a dream to drive, but there is one slight drawback...well not really a drawback more like a tight squeeze. It barely fits into the garage!!! Oops! I guess I should have measured it first. Oh well if Im careful and go really slow I can shoe horn her right on in.

Oh, this was Brian's response when I sent him the picture. He sent a picture of his truck. He wrote, "I bet your jealous now" Hmmm not exactly, LOL!!!

I know 2 posts in one day? Can you believe it! I just peeked at Scrapfunattic' blog and they had pic's of the class. Mine are the top double layout with brown cardstock and Basic Grey Marrakech Collection stripes, and the bright "SPRING" one! Im going to use the double layout for Brian and the Spring page Im going to use some black and white flower pic's I have.

There were 3 sketches but I didnt get the third one finished yet.

Enemies By Design, Buds By Choice!

Don't they look cute! Who would have thought that a cranky Doxie could love a cat who thinks she's queen! *LOL*

Bella's Story:
Sparky was about 7 years old when we got Bella last year. He had managed to run off the other dog and cat we adopted after him. So I took a big chance adopting Bella from the pound. Her litter was so tiny, they looked way to young to adopt! Her markings were so strange we just had to visit with her. We found out later that she is a Classic Silver Tabby. Of course when I held her I had to have her!!! She didn't shy away from us at all and she started purring and playing right away. That was it I was hooked!! *he he* She is declawed in the front and spayed. We got her on Fourth of July week-end, she was on sale for $17.76!, Funny huh? She came with a free Vet Check, so when we took her they told us that she was very under weight!! boo-hoo! Almost 2 lbs!!! She had been cared for in a foster home and only came to the Shelter on the week-ends for the chance to be adopted. I dont know why they didnt feed her, because as soon as I offered her food she made herself sick!

The funniest thing was when we took the tiny ball of fur home, the first thing she did was walk up to Sparky and swat him across the face with her claws. Then she stood there, as if to say "OK dog I'M in charge now, got it?" And that's pretty much how its been ever since, she runs the house and he lets her, **LOL** She eats his food, she drinks his water, she sleeps in his bed, she hides and ambush's him when he walks by. But he must not mind because he never complains!!

She gets on every thing, counters, furniture, tables, you name it! When we tell her to get down she just looks at us like "I do what I want, you dont tell me what to do". :OP *haha* She loves Dylan!!! She likes to eat what you eat and trys to get it while your eating it if your not careful! I know, I know no manners!! She LOVES to run out into the garage when the door is open and then refuse to come back in. Stubborn! If she can get it on the floor, its a cat toy, no matter what it is, Med bottles, pen, pencils, keys you name it. After she had her claws out, she perfected the art of BITING, and she is a champ at it!!! She chews on everything!!! I always threaten to pull out her teeth!! Just kidding, sort of. Oh, one more fact. I sleep on my side at night and so does she. You know, on my side, MY SIDE, my actual side! I saw a card one time that said "CAT LOVE" "You know your cat loves you when they allow you to lay under them while they sleep" **too funny and too true**

Sparky's Story:

We got Sparky, a.k.a. SparkyDoodle, at the Human Society in Newton in 2004. He is a Dapple Doxie. His tail has been docked, but we aren't sure why. Maybe it was broken in an accident. He was left behind when his previous owners moved out of state. He had a buddy but that dog had been adopted without Sparky. Sad. When we took him into the visitation room he was so excited, jumping and whining all over us. But he was drawn to Brian, he is definitely a mans dog!!! *LOL*

He loves to sleep under the covers, he loves to "G-O", as soon as one of us starts to put on our shoes or picks up our keys he is at the door raring to go!! Its sad to have to leave him when he's doing that. :O( He wants to eat constantly! But on the other hand he lets Bella eat his food before he eats. Dumb Dog, go figure!! *he he*
Sparky is the worlds best begger, he will just sit and stare at you until you give up and toss him something, hehe. We call him "Houdini" because he is always out of the yard and all the neighbors know him and know where he lives. Embarassing! He can jump 4 feet in the air and when he runs he runs on 3 legs!! He switchs up the hind leg, sometimes the right one, sometimes the left. Strange?!

Well thats my kiddos with fur for you!!! Brian and I call them our "shadows" because where ever we go in the house, they go!! I hope you enjoyed our story.

Member Gallery of Scrapbooking Layouts and Projects - Two Peas in a Bucket
The challenge was to create a layout inspired by a card in their gallery. I didn't even notice that the card was made with Heidi Grace paper until after I bought my Heidi Grace paper at Michael's on Tuesday!

I'm going to try to do this weeks challenge too. This week the challenge is to use your left over alpha stickers together. Well we will see! Maybe I will try to incorporate that into the layouts I'm doing at Scrapfunattic. WOW, multi-tasking I hope I can pull it off, LOL.

I got my newsletter from stopandscrap.com and they had all the new Fancy Pants papers on their web site to look at. OMG! I want all four of them!!!*LOL* I'm may have to get a THIRD job, *haha* (just kidding, because unless its something I can do in my sleep it ain't happening!)

Seriously, aren't they soooo cute!!!! They are only on reserve right now, darn it!!! I know, I know judging from what I brought to the crop on Sat. the last thing I need is anymore paper!! But as I always say "What does NEED have to do with it?" LOL

The PJ Crop was soooo fun!!! Meghan and I stayed until 1:30 am and then my baby was ready to go. But that was long enough for me to have a blast. I haven't had that much fun since, hmmm let me think (ponder, ponder) Oh yeah since we were all together at the garden. (minus Mr & Mrs you-know-who). I haven't laughed that hard in way too long!!! It was so wonderful to see all of you again. We have to do this again and we have to get Miss. Toni there too.

I only managed to get 3 pages done but all the fun and girl time made up for it! I have a little journaling to finish on my pages and then I will post them on here.

Wow, today was so nice! Brian was home today so we went out to lunch and then to the book store. Its so nice to steal away with him like that, especially since our schedules are so hectic.

YEAH!! Tomorrow is the PJ Crop!! Of course I don't have a thing ready to go yet, but I always have packed better under pressure, LOL. Im always the one still trying to pack my suitcase when everyone else is in the car! So I guess I will be frantically throwing things in bags tomorrow morning, YIKES!!! Who knows what I will end up with, *haha* I got lucky and I have the WHOLE day off on Saturday, from both jobs! And my wonderful husband took the day off to watch "the boy"!!!

Hello All!!!

A shoulder update!! I went back to the doctor today and now he is sending me to a specialist because he thinks my rotator cuff is torn. Good Grief Charlie Brown, I'm falling apart! LOL I may have to have surgery AGAIN!!! Ugg.

Hmmm lets see what else? I'm working full time at the shelter now. What? you say, did I leave RLT? Oh heavens no ladies! pish posh. I'm still there but NOW I work full time on 2ND-shift at the shelter and I'm still doing the mornings at RLT.

For those of us who have no time for math, let me help you THAT'S 65 HRS A WEEK, YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT 6-5!!! It sucks to poor and hired out!!! (Can you guess that movie??? Hmmm...) But things are looking up for us!!!

Ive come to the conclusion that sleep is completely over rated, 6-8 hrs a night is for Sissy's! Its amazing what you can sleep walk through! Today I was at walmart and I dropped off some scripts and went shopping while I waited. I had to keep reminding myself all through the store "don't forget the scripts" Yep you guessed I forgot them and to go back. I guess I'm going to have to start writing everything down, but then would I remember where I wrote it or to even check the book?

Meghan and Josh moved in with us this week so Meg can concentrate on her schooling. Did I mention that before? She is going to school for Medical Billing and Coding. Its one of the up and coming careers out there. And, it pays super duper when you graduate!!! Yeah for them!!!

Pretty good day

Hello All!!!

Let's see whats been going on here at the Murphy abode. Today was a pretty good day, I had my performance eval at RLT this morning and I got a B straight across the board, (no one gets an A). Yeah!!! Im pretty happy about that. I just need to work on being on time everyday, OOPS! I will work on that.

I also went to lunch with Miss Meghan, we went to a WONDERFUL mexican resturant in Andover called Las Palmas it was sooo yummy!!! Then of course we went to Scrap-fun-attic, duh!!! I needed to pay for Meghan to go to the PJ Crop on Feb. 21st, from 5pm to 5 am. Yes you heard me correctly till 5 AM! I know I wont make it till then but Im gonna try, LOL. Im so excited.

My hubby is working more and more so that's a HUGE relief for us, now maybe we can start digging out of this financial hole we've gotten into. That light at the end of the tunnel might not be a train after all!!!

So all in all it was a pretty good day!

Yeah, I FINALLY got my money back after they closed. What a mess this has been. It shouldnt have been so hard just to get a refund. Oh well its done now and I have my $70 dollars.

I finally got some pages done! I'm just amazed how long it takes to do anything anymore!! I think its a sign of old age or maybe senility, I'm not sure, LOL!!!

In 2006 we took Dylan to Manhattan KS for the Kaw Valley Special Rodeo. It was sooo cute all of the kiddos had a special need of some kind. They gave all of the kids a genuine straw cowboy hat, a bandana and a T-shirt. They also assigned each child a rodeo cowboy that would be competing in the actual rodeo. But when they came to Dylan they ran out of cowboys so Dylan got the rodeo queen!!! OOh La La!!! Hubba Hubba, hehehe.

Oh did you notice the mohawk??!!! Check it out,you have to look closely at picture with the medal, yes I allowed it, heck I even cut myself. You ROCK mom!

On the way home we stopped in Abilene and took a train ride. The trip was about 90 minutes or 10 miles round trip. We rode from Abilene to Enterprise and back. We went threw the Smoky Hill River Valley. Dylan had a great time. I just love the outfit he chose that day, the hat completes it!!!

Last but not least Dylans 10th birthday party. We went to CiCi's to eat and then back to our house for ice cream cake from Baskin-Robbins, yummy!!! He was pretty surprised when he opened the new bike that looks like a real dirt bike. He had lots of fun.

Yoder Haus Closed

Did you know Yoder Haus closed? I never got to go and Im still trying to get my money back. She keeps telling me she is going to send it but I have yest to see anything. She said they are moving back to Massachusetts. I know her daughter has colon cancer. But Im not sure if that's why their going back there or not. I just hope she doesn't forget about me. Its sad that $75 is big deal to me!

All are invited to participate in the 8th Annual No Pants! Subway Ride. The event will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 10. Everything you need to know is in this post. Please read it carefully!

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:

1) Willing to take pants off on subway
2) Able to keep a straight face about it

**THIS IS A PARTICIPATORY EVENT. DO NOT SHOW UP UNLESS YOU PLAN TO TAKE YOUR PANTS OFF.**

DETAILS

When: Saturday, January 10 at 3:00 PM, Sharp! (Over by around 5:30)
Where: Meet at Foley Square at the black sculpture/fountain. It’s near the Brooklyn Bridge 6 train stop, between Centre and Lafayette, just north of Duane. (Google Map)
Bring: A backpack and a metro card.
Do not bring: A camera (we’ll have several photographers on hand)
Wear: Normal winter clothes (hat, gloves, etc)
Facebook: You can RSVP to the Facebook Event
After Party: For those over 21, there will be an official No Pants after party at Sidebar, 15th Street and Irving Place. First drink is free if you arrive without pants.

Complete logistics below:

HOW IT WORKS

We will assemble in Foley Square at 3 PM. Please be on time. Feel free to be early.

When we’re organized, we will all head down to several nearby subway stations. Do not talk to others once you enter the subway system. No one knows each other. We will wait for a train to arrive on the uptown side of the tracks and all board our assigned cars (follow your team leader). We may let one train go before entering to make sure everyone is ready.

Sit in the car as you normally would. Read a magazine or whatever you would normally do. Your team leader will have already divided you into smaller groups, assigning your group a specific stop where you will depants. Sit near your group.

As soon as the doors shut at the stop before yours, stand up and take your pants off and put them in your backpack. If you’d like to use a briefcase, purse, grocery bag, or whatever instead of a backpack that’s fine too. You are responsible for your own pants and they should be with you at all times. If anyone asks you why you’ve removed your pants, tell them that they were “getting uncomfortable” (or something along those lines.)

Exit the train at your assigned stop and stand on the platform, pantless. You will wait on the platform for the next train to arrive. Stay in the exact same place on the platform so you enter the next train in the same car as you exited the last train.

When you enter , act as you normally would. You do not know any of the other pantless riders. If questioned, tell folks that you “forgot to wear pants” and yes you are “a little cold.” Insist that it is a coincidence that others also forgot their pants. Be nice and friendly and normal.

We will exit the train at a predetermined stop and then repeat the mission back down to Union Square.

You can wear fun underwear if you like, but nothing that screams out, “I wore this because I’m doing a silly stunt.” Wear two pairs of underwear if it makes you feel more comfortable. Don’t wear a thong or anything else that might offend people. Our aim is to make people laugh, not piss them off.

Wow, what beeeutiful day!!!

The weather couldnt have been better today if we had special ordered it!!! I got out and had a tire repaired, picked up and delivered cupcakes to the school for my handsome wonderful son who is turning 10!, yes I said 10 yrs old!!! on Sunday! It turns out there were 4 birthdays in his class today!!! WOW, can we say sugar overload!! LOL.

Well of course I worked this morning that goes without saying!!! Then I ran errands and had lunch with my wonderful husband!!! Yeah!!! I guess there are benefits to him being home more! I certianly see more of him.

Well it feels like the cold front is moving in and I need to go buy a birthday present for a party that Dylan has been invited to tomorrow at CHUCKY CHEESE, ARGGHH shoot me!!! HEHEHE

I have been to Etsy several times but I had never thought to look for scrapbook supplies. Silly Me. Duh. But, after Sarahs lucky finds I thought I would check it out too. Well, naturally I found lotso things I loved!! But I had to curb my urge to buy and here is what I came away with.

Hello everyone!!! I'm back! Hopefully nothing will happen to my blog this time! I was missing all of you. But now I can get back on track and catch up.

I am working PRN at the shelter again as a Resident Manager. I'm working about 30 hrs a week I really like it, its nice to be back. I'm still working mornings at Ryan also.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We did, but I had to have my gall bladder out on new years, yippee skippee, that was fun! But I feel pretty good, just a little sore in spots.

Well gotta go for now!
